About Us

Foothills Property Management Inc. is a family business founded over 25 years ago. We have one of the largest inventories of privately owned apartments, condos, town homes and homes in the Sedona and Verde Valley Areas.

We are committed to embracing future technologies and marketing that serve both our tenants and owners. At the same time we value the small town service ethics and care that our company was built on.

Meet Our Staff

  • Tawnia

    Tawnia S. Funk

    I began my real estate career in 1985 as a new licensee managing 20 properties in the Cottonwood/Camp Verde area. In 1988 I obtained my brokers license. My husband Brad joined me, and over the years we grew to over 500 unfurnished and furnished homes in the Verde Valley and Sedona area. In 1997 we purchased the business from the owner we were working with and formed Foothills Property Management. Brad and I will be celebrating 28 years in our business and marriage. Both of our daughters are licensed real estate agents and have been a vital part of our company’s growth. We are a dedicated and committed family owned company.

    One of the strongest reasons we have retained so many properties/owners over the years is because we treat each home as if it were our own. We are also real estate investors, with first hand knowledge of what it takes to be a good landlord.

    Our longstanding staff is also to be recognized for our success; we appreciate all their loyalty and dedication both to you and us. They are the greatest team that anyone could ask for.

    I have been a licensed Real Estate Agent/Property Manager since 2001. I have been with Foothills Property Management since January, 2004. Prior to that I had my own cleaning business and then worked for Wal-mart for 10 years.

    Being a part of the Foothills team, I have grown and flourished in many ways. I love working with people and the best part of my job is finding the perfect home for a tenant. What could be more satisfying than that? We are a great team and our customer service to our owners and tenants is above the rest.

    After years of visiting Sedona and renting vacation properties from Foothills, I purchased my own vacation home here in 2009. I then began my transition from a Midwesterner with a twenty year career in corporate marketing management to full time Sedona resident, real estate licensee and an Agent / Property Manager at Foothills.

    I am proud to be working with the best in the business where my core beliefs in excellent client service, attention to detail, and a friendly approach are a perfect fit with our team.

    I am the Accountant for Foothills. I have 40 Years experience in Accounting & Bookkeeping. I have been with Foothills Property Mgmt since February 2002.

    I am very proud to be a part of this team. I work with wonderful and talented people and I love working for the owners Tawnia & Brad. They have been a positive influence in my life.

    I have been a residential real estate sales agent in Sedona and the Verde Valley since 1984 and I had the good fortune to be able to come to work with the outstanding team at Foothills Property Management in 2013. I did property management for many of my past buyer clients who had rental investments in this area, and having a long career of helping families find homes to own here made me a good candidate for assisting with long term property management. We are also now equipped to handle all the aspects of evaluating, purchasing and selling properties that make good rental investments!

    Being an Arizona native I have a great love for the beautiful Sedona/Verde Valley area. My background started in sales management for Verizon Wireless while attending Arizona State University. After obtaining my real estate license is 2013 I started in general real estate sales, dabbled in time share sales then moved into property management. I have found property management is the most enjoyable for me. I am very proud to be a part of a management company that has such high regard and standards for our owners and tenants.

    I began my real estate career in 1999 in Phoenix, Az. I was born and raised in Southern California and grew up in a small town on a citrus ranch which created my love for the rural life style. Living now in the Verde Valley has been a goal of mine since I moved to Arizona in 1993. My career in real estate started with my love in land sales. I received an award for 'Rookie of the Year' in 2000 for my service in the West Valley of Phoenix. I now look forward to moving into a new field of Property Management.

    Throughout my career life I've learned that customer service is one of the most important factors in a business. Foothills Property Management is a great customer service based company who has been servicing this area for a number of years. To work with this team of professionals at Foothills Property Management is a great opportunity.     Heather Morgan joins the Cottonwood Foothills Property Management team with residential real estate sales experience in the Verde Valley, as well as a background of 18 years in the asset protection and securities industry as and the owner/operator of two insurance and financial services agencies in Sedona, AZ. While representing one of the nation’s largest insurance carriers and financial institutions as an Exclusive Principle Agent and Financial Representative, Heather developed a foundation of assisting clients with personal and business planning, protecting, and investing for their future. As a resident and business owner in the Sedona/Verde Valley area, Heather brings forth her knowledge and expertise of understanding these communities and what they have to offer from a variety of perspectives.
